Shape Europe's marketing direction as the Marketing Director, responsible for building brand visibility and generating high-quality leads across the UK and EU markets. You will design and execute strategic, multi-channel campaigns that reflect regional nuances while aligning with global objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing marketing team focused on regional impact
- Create and refine marketing strategies tailored to European audiences, enhancing brand positioning and thought leadership
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscapes to guide content and campaign direction
- Collaborate with marketing teams in the US and China to produce and localize high-value content
- Optimize digital marketing efforts—including SEO, paid media, and automation—to improve engagement and conversion
- Manage end-to-end promotion of industry events, including securing speaking opportunities and measuring event performance
- Use data analytics to track KPIs, refine strategies, and report on marketing effectiveness
- Work closely with sales, technical experts, and business unit teams to ensure alignment and impact
- Support cross-regional collaboration, including scheduled calls outside standard hours to align with US and China colleagues
Qualifications and Experience
- 10+ years of strategic marketing experience in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or CRO sectors, with a focus on international markets
- Proven success in planning, executing, and measuring multi-channel campaigns across digital, content, and event channels
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or life sciences; advanced degree preferred
- Fluency in English; additional languages a plus
- Strong grasp of marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot and CRM systems like Salesforce
- Experience managing teams and leading cross-cultural initiatives
- Ability to translate market intelligence into actionable strategies
