Alkami Technology, Inc. was looking for a Director, Client Sales

Alkami is looking for a Director, Client Sales to own the strategy for all business development and sales activity with our existing clients. In this role, you will lead and develop a team of Client Sales Executives focused on executing strategies for add-on sales growth.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage the Client Sales team for the East Region.
  • Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop the team and their territory.
  • Develop and execute strategies for quickly developing add-on sales.
  • Articulate the value proposition of our product and service to convert prospects.
  • Negotiate and close deals while handling objections.
  • Assist the Client Sales Team when closing new business.
  • Travel to meet with prospective customers.
  • Attend trade shows and conferences and travel to meet with existing clients as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience leading and developing teams of 5+ people and managing team quota.
  • Demonstrable success in selling, prospecting, and building new business pipelines with financial institutions and/or online banking.
  • High ethical standards and determination to succeed.
  • Experience closing deals.
  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly at all levels of an organization, including C-level.
  • 5+ years’ experience carrying or directly supporting a quota.
  • A strong sense of urgency and accountability to generate new sales.
  • Ability to articulate examples of learning technical products or solutions.
  • Ability to analyze, assess and address prospects' needs within the context of our products and services.

Nice to Have

  • Previous SaaS sales experience.
  • Previous experience within the financial technology industry.

Team & Environment

You will be leading a Client Sales team of 5+ for the East Region and reporting to the VP of Client Sales.
