About the Role

1Password seeks a Director, Channel Sales to lead the expansion of channel partner relationships, driving revenue growth and market reach across key geographies. Reporting to the Head of Partnerships, this is a senior role balancing program development and relationship management to build scalable, revenue-generating partnerships.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, implement, and manage the channel sales strategy to achieve company sales objectives.
  • Drive revenue growth through the development and management of key channel partners.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing partners to drive mutual growth.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of channel partners.
  • Implement performance improvement plans and strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Provide ongoing training, support, and resources to channel partners to ensure they are well-equipped to sell and support the company's products.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure alignment and support for channel partners.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Build and develop a world-class channel partner team that drives sell-through and sell-with strategies for distribution and resale.
  • Recruit, develop, and drive business with key industry and market-leading distributors & resellers.
  • Lead implementation of systems, programs, and tooling to support channel partners.
  • Develop short and long-term market strategy and forecasts and communicate partner activities and productivity to senior management.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, finance, people team, and operations to secure support and resources for channel sales programs.
  • Leverage strong channel relationships to collect feedback on partner needs, market trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Recruit, inspire, lead, mentor, motivate, and instill operational rigor into the channel organization.

What We're Looking For

  • 5-7 years of relevant partnerships, sales, or business development experience.
  • 2+ years experience directly managing people (Channel Sales Managers).
  • Track record of leading channel teams through rapid growth and developing scalable processes and strategies.
  • Experience implementing complex strategy and operational improvements with a data-driven approach.
  • Proven success in driving comprehensive channel sales to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
  • Experience within a cloud-native, technical infrastructure SaaS business.
  • Track record of managing a predictable and repeatable recurring revenue business model.

You will report to the Head of Partnerships and work cross-functionally across the organization.

  • Compensation: USA: $190,000 USD - $256,000 USD; Canada: $179,000 CAD - $242,000 CAD + equity.

Work Mode

This role is open to candidates in Canada and the United States.
