Celestica is hiring a Director, Business Operations to directly support the Vice President of the Global Customer Business Unit (GCBU). You will be responsible for planning, management, and metrics to accelerate the deployment and execution of key strategic initiatives and business strategy.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with customer business unit leadership to drive execution of customer strategy and key initiatives.
- Support the Vice President in monitoring progress and performance metrics for critical goals and strategic imperatives.
- Drive and own the management operating system (MOS) for the Global Customer Business Unit.
- Monitor daily operations across the customer account and proactively address potential issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and execute large, complex change initiatives.
- Review, evaluate, and implement operating systems, processes, and practices to improve efficiency.
- Support the Vice President in preparing for internal business cadence and external stakeholder meetings.
- Serve as the lead interface for functions such as Strategy, IT, and Corporate Development.
What We're Looking For
- Experience developing, leading, and executing complex strategic and operational initiatives for large organizations.
- Ability to synthesize multiple information sources into a coherent framework for addressing business challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional stakeholders, influence executive decision-making, and navigate organizational dynamics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, quantitative modeling, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of the data center technology industry.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in a high-growth environment.
- Strong business judgment and a structured approach to complex problems.
- Outstanding research, analysis, and people leadership skills.
- A fast, flexible, and outcomes-focused mindset.
- 3+ years in management consulting, private equity, principal investment, or an investment bank analyst program.
- In-depth experience related to running revenue organizations.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Nice to Have
- Educational or work experience specifically in the data center technology industry.
- Experience in a Chief of Staff position or equivalent.
- An MBA.
Team & Environment
You will directly support the Vice President, GCBU, and report to them.
Work Mode
This is a remote position based in the USA. Candidates should be open to travel as necessary. We are open to candidates located near major airports or in states including Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Texas, Arizona, Oregon, or California.
