Tractor Supply Company is hiring a Direct Sales Specialist to develop and nurture Business to Business (B2B) and Bulk Sales relationships from lead generation to conversion. In this role, you will be the primary field contact for business customers and act as a bridge to our Merchant and Operations teams to support sales fulfillment.
What You'll Do
- Identify, develop, and grow B2B & Bulk Sales relationships with Life Out Here event centers, venues, and businesses within your assigned area.
- Create the relationships and processes needed to bridge Sales to Merchant Inventory and Delivery Capabilities to meet customer needs.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue goals.
- Identify and deploy new capabilities required for the B2B & Bulk customer segment.
- Manage and maintain KPIs, metrics, and financial reporting to sustain successful relationships and growth.
- Serve as the subject matter expert and main point of contact for B2B & Bulk customers, informing them on enhancements or new capabilities.
- Conduct local market research, plan and execute cold outreach, and close sales to achieve revenue goals.
- Establish and maintain solid business relationships with internal partners locally and at the Store Support Center.
- Keep informed on competitive and industry insights related to B2B models and Life Out Here event centers and venues.
- Maintain customer loyalty within your assigned area, including resolving customer issues and analyzing reporting to improve satisfaction.
- Support selling initiatives using the GURA framework: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend products, Ask for the Sale.
What We're Looking For
- A High School diploma is required.
- Minimum of one year in an Outside Sales role.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
- Experience in B2B & Bulk sales or sales to large event centers and venues.
- Experience partnering with retail operations to support B2B & Bulk sales customers.
- Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
