Break Something is hiring a Digital Strategist to raise money for Democratic candidates and organizations through direct response channels. In this remote role, you will be responsible for creating compelling fundraising copy and managing multiple projects from concept to execution under tight deadlines.
What You'll Do
- Write creative fundraising copy for email, ads, text messaging, social media, and direct response campaigns.
- Develop content calendars in coordination with account managers and clients.
- Perform thorough quality control checks on all outbound communications.
- Conduct campaign, client, or issue-specific research to inform content.
- Coordinate A/B testing to optimize programs based on performance and client feedback.
- Provide support to the program lead and deliver copy and samples to clients as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent command of grammar, punctuation usage, and AP style.
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks, work well under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Basic proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
- Enthusiasm for Democratic politics and causes.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email design.
- Experience with SMS, MMS, and email CRMs, campaign tools, and platforms.

- Compensation: $58,000-$66,000 annually.
