About the Role

Zoetis US LLC is hiring a Diagnostic Solutions Consultant to be a field-based sales team member responsible for selling diagnostic instruments, tests, and services. You will build and maintain customer relationships to maximize retention and achieve sales goals within an assigned US territory.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of diagnostic products and services.
  • Travel daily to offices of existing and prospective customers, targeting 3-4 existing customers and 3-4 new business opportunities per day.
  • Document all customer and prospect interactions in detail via the online system.
  • Transport equipment to customer and prospective customer locations.
  • Lift, set up, and demonstrate diagnostic solutions, equipment, and features.
  • Clearly explain the uses, benefits, and value proposition of products and services.
  • Secure purchase orders for diagnostic products and services.
  • Provide ongoing customer support, addressing product, technical, or service concerns.
  • Work cooperatively with Diagnostic Technical Specialists to enhance customer service and utilization.
  • Generate new business leads, including placing instruments in competitor accounts and academic settings.
  • Support billing and collection efforts.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated sales experience or relevant technical/clinical experience.
  • Minimum of an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Must speak fluent English.
  • Ability to safely lift and move 60 lbs.
  • Valid Driver’s License, clean driving record, and auto insurance.
  • Demonstrated skills selling capital equipment in physician and/or veterinary clinics.
  • Demonstrated expertise in veterinary terminology and science.
  • Skilled at making presentations, including financial presentations, at all levels.
  • Ability to transport, set up, and demonstrate equipment quickly and effectively.
  • Demonstrated organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and work independently.

Nice to Have

  • Experience preferably in the medical, scientific, or healthcare industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a science or business emphasis.

Team & Environment

This is a field-based, customer-facing role as a member of our sales team.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Salary range: $67,000 - $97,000.

Work Mode

This is an onsite position within an assigned US sales territory.
