ClickHouse is hiring a Developer Advocate

ClickHouse is looking for a Developer Advocate to serve as the bridge between our developer community, internal teams, and external partners. Your core focus will be on growing, supporting, and energizing our large AMER meetup network and broader developer ecosystem. This is a remote role requiring frequent travel of 50%+ of your time.

What You'll Do

• Lead and grow ClickHouse’s AMER meetup network, coordinating events, speakers, logistics, and community engagement.
• Serve as the primary connector for developer-focused initiatives across ClickHouse, collaborating with engineering, product, marketing, sales, partners, and customers.
• Act as a liaison between ClickHouse, our community, partners, and customers to identify opportunities, gather feedback, and drive adoption.
• Enable internal teams to create impactful technical content, case studies, or demos by connecting them with subject matter experts and community insights.
• Track and report metrics that measure the success and impact of developer engagement, meetups, and advocacy programs.
• Represent ClickHouse at conferences, webinars, meetups, and other technical forums.
• Support engineers in online communities such as Discord, Twitter, Slack and GitHub Discussions.

What We're Looking For

• A strong technical background in data systems, analytics, distributed systems, or related domains.
• Proven experience engaging and enabling developer communities, including running meetups, events, or open source programs.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple teams (engineering, product, marketing, sales) and with external partners and customers.
• Excellent communication skills — able to translate complex technical topics for diverse audiences and foster community engagement.
• Strategic thinking, initiative, and the ability to drive programs that scale across multiple geographies and stakeholders.
• Comfort being a visible, public advocate for ClickHouse and our community.
• Willingness and ability to travel 50%+ of the time; this remote role requires living near a major airport.

Team & Environment

You will work closely with engineering, product, marketing, and sales teams. As part of our first 500 employees, you will be instrumental in shaping our culture.

Benefits & Compensation

• Compensation in the US: $150,000-$190,000 USD; US Premium Markets: $170,000-$210,000 USD + equity in the form of stock options.
