Ssctech is hiring a Deployment Engineer to join the team supporting SS&C Advent's suite of hosted client environments and cloud services. You'll work with a dynamic team of system experts to deploy, support, and optimize client solutions while contributing to implementation projects.
What You'll Do
- Deploy and support SS&C Advent's hosted client environments (Advent Outsourcing Services), including application troubleshooting, upgrades, and patches.
- Assist in testing and updating existing runbooks.
- Pro-actively look to optimize workflows and automate repetitive tasks.
- Learn to install and configure Advent's proprietary applications.
- Collaborate with team members on client implementation and upgrade projects.
- Develop and follow detailed project plans, schedules, and related project documentation.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with Windows system administration in an Enterprise environment.
- Understanding in scripting and automation technologies like Chef, Jenkins, and Shell Script.
- Excel in complex problem analysis and hands-on creative solutions, designs, and implementations.
- Ability to communicate effectively both internally and with clients.
- Experience managing cloud environments utilizing Windows, Citrix, and VMWare.
- Detail oriented and results-driven self-starter with the ability to complete work independently within a collaborative environment.
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects, execute according to project schedules, provide operational support, and deliver results with a high level of quality.
- Ability to rapidly learn new technologies to implement and support a fast paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Expertise in installing and administering SS&C Advent APX, Moxy, and Geneva is a plus.
