Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with development teams to design, deploy, and manage applications across cloud platforms
- Manage and scale AWS infrastructure using Terraform to enforce consistent, repeatable configurations
- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or Jenkins for efficient software delivery
- Lead technical initiatives, ensuring architectural integrity and alignment with long-term business goals
- Guide the migration of workloads to the cloud, including re-platforming and refactoring existing systems
- Conduct regular evaluations of cloud deployments to ensure compliance with internal standards and operational best practices
- Support 24/7 system availability by minimizing downtime and enhancing fault tolerance
- Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing across teams
- Stay current with emerging technologies and advocate for their adoption where appropriate
- Deliver training and documentation on tools, processes, and cloud services
What You Bring
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience in cloud infrastructure, containerization with Docker, and orchestration via Kubernetes
- Strong working knowledge of AWS services and ecosystem
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab or Jenkins
- Proficiency in Git for version control
- Solid foundation in Linux and Windows system administration, networking, and scripting
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on clear, maintainable documentation
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
