The Build Engineer for NBA 2K will be responsible for maintaining and improving build pipelines, troubleshooting build incidents, and creating automation tools to support the development of one of the world's most prominent sports video game franchises. What You'll Do
- Create and maintain asset generation scripts and tools that are critical to our games’ success
- Primary responsibility for troubleshooting build-related incidents
- Contributing to improvements our build pipeline
- Continuously work to make your own life easier by writing scripts to automate events, and processes
- Learn from leaders with decades of experience building world-class AAA games
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience as a Build Engineer, Release Engineer, or in a similar pipeline-focused role
- Experience supporting large, complex codebases with frequent integrations and build cycles
- C++ experience
- Python experience, with a focus on scripting for automation and tooling
- Experience with Jenkins pipeline development
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and build/release workflows
- Advanced debugging and troubleshooting skills, particularly with build-related issues
- Experience with source control, bug tracking, and external asset delivery
- Experience working with asset pipelines or content-heavy workflows (game development preferred)
- Proven ability to improve and optimize build pipelines and processes
- Strong collaboration skills and experience working cross-functionally with teams
- Self-motivation and excellent problem-solving skills
- A high standard for clean, well-documented, efficient code

Compensation: California: $85,700 - $120,000 per year; New York State (inclusive of New York City): $77,100 - $108,000 per year; Washington: $85,700 - $120,000 per year; New Jersey: $77,100 - $108,000 per year; British Columbia: CAD $71,400 - $100,000 per year. Equity awards and bonuses may be included in the total compensation package.

This is a fully remote role that may be based anywhere in the United States.
Base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Employees will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary and other compensation or benefits at any time.
