What You'll Do
Own and maintain scalable AWS environments using Infrastructure as Code through Terraform and CloudFormation. Provide hands-on support for core Windows services including Active Directory and Public Key Infrastructure. Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline platform operations and improve system reliability.
Respond to change requests and resolve technical issues across infrastructure and security domains. Participate in an on-call schedule to ensure 24/7 system availability and rapid incident response. Collaborate with developers, database administrators, and engineering teams to deliver secure, resilient solutions.
Support security compliance initiatives by refining alerting systems, managing log collection, and applying cloud security best practices. Help audit engineering processes and contribute to the enforcement of information security policies. Share knowledge and guide less experienced team members through direct mentorship and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field
- Minimum of 2 years managing AWS or equivalent public cloud platforms
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in IT security or technical operations
- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Working knowledge of both Windows and Linux system administration
- Understanding of cloud security frameworks and compliance standards
- Hold or be eligible for NATO SECRET (INS) security clearance
