About the Role

GFIC is seeking an Account Manager for Beverage and Food Ingredients to build and maintain client relationships and drive sales growth within the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary territory. This role focuses primarily on the beverage sector, with potential involvement in food categories.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients.
  • Understand client needs and offer tailored solutions from the product portfolio.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
  • Actively seek out new clients and business opportunities within the food and beverage sector.
  • Conduct research to identify and engage potential customers.
  • Present and promote the food ingredients portfolio to potential clients.
  • Prepare sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close new business deals.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets.
  • Track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and results.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure clients' needs are met effectively.
  • Provide market feedback and insights to support new product development.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager, Sales Representative, or similar role within the food ingredients, food manufacturing, or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of the food ingredients market and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of food regulations, industry standards, and food product development processes.
  • Results-driven and proactive approach with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Good English language skills.
  • Native level of Czech or Slovak language skills.
  • Sales experience.
  • Experience with application of food and beverage ingredients.

Nice to Have

  • Hungarian language skills.
