UPS is looking for a Customs Brokerage Rep II to troubleshoot documentation issues and ensure all federal customs requirements are met. In this role, you’ll be the critical link auditing documents, applying tariff codes, and maintaining compliance for international shipments.
What You'll Do
- Prepare customs entries and forward freight to designated locations, interfacing with carriers, overseas offices, and importers.
- Follow up on the clearance process for all prepared entries and file them to customs via GBS-CM accurately and on time.
- Communicate documentation discrepancies to clients and supervisors, troubleshooting issues daily with customers and foreign origins.
- Coordinate freight delivery and resolve finance and accounting reconciliation exchange issues.
- Scan entries into the imaging system within allotted and sensitive time requirements.
- Perform administrative responsibilities, including report and presentation preparation using various software packages and databases.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships.
- Work a weekend schedule on a department rotation basis and a holiday schedule based on operational needs.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma, GED, or International equivalent
- Basic knowledge of customs operations, laws and regulations, and other government departments
- Basic computer skills
- Basic understanding of the HS (Harmonized System)

This is a hybrid remote position with a Monday-Friday schedule from 9 am to 5:30 pm EST. The successful candidate must be within a reasonable commute distance for operational needs.
