Mass General Brigham (The McLean Hospital Corporation) is looking for a Patient Care Assistant I to join our team. In this role, you will work under the direction of licensed personnel to assist patients with activities of daily living and basic clinical tasks, supporting our commitment to exceptional patient care, research, teaching, and community service.
What You'll Do
- Perform vital signs, weights/heights, intakes, and outputs with accuracy and within established time frames.
- Complete all required documentation in the medical record.
- Interact effectively with patients and their families.
- Assist patients with basic hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing, using the toilet, and feeding.
- Help patients turn and reposition themselves in bed and move between bed and wheelchair.
- Listen to patient health concerns and report them to nurses.
What We're Looking For
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred, but experience cannot be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Nice to Have
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Certified Medical Assistant (National Certification)
- Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic (Massachusetts)
- Nursing Assistant (LNA - New Hampshire)
- 1-2 years experience working in patient care/elder care

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $18.22 - $26.06/Hourly
- $750.00 sign-on bonus for eligible new hires
