Mass General Brigham is seeking a Food Service Worker II for The McLean Hospital Corporation. In this role, you will perform a wide range of duties involved with preparing and serving foods and beverages in a variety of hospital food service environments, supporting a team dedicated to exceptional care.
What You'll Do
- Set up food service, kitchen, or salad area facilities, equipment, and utensils according to specific area needs.
- Check food temperatures and prepare areas for daily operations.
- Operate cooking or bakery equipment as assigned.
- Convey food and supplies from main preparation areas to serving sites, using carts.
- Follow procedures for setting up hot and cold food lines, ice cream, yogurt, and ice machines.
- Choose proper utensils and set steam lines to appropriate temperatures.
- Prepare or assist in preparing hot and cold meat and vegetable dishes, beverages, salads, sandwiches, and simple desserts.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 2-3 years of food service experience.
