The Customer Support Technician will provide technical support to homeowners and installers for Enphase Energy's solar PV systems, ensuring optimal performance through troubleshooting and commissioning assistance. This role is based in Eschborn and supports the growing renewable energy market with a focus on solar, storage, and EVSE technologies.
Responsibilities
- Assist homeowners and installers by resolving technical issues and providing support during commissioning via phone and email
- Track and document customer cases, ensuring timely follow-up
- Work closely with Enphase Field Service Technicians and Field Applications Engineers to resolve complex issues
- Utilize and update the support knowledge base
- Continuously advance understanding of PV systems and technologies
- Stay on top of the latest industry trends and developments to ensure customers receive expert-level guidance
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer support or a relevant technical role
- Fluency in English (minimum B2 level)
- Fluency in either German or Dutch (minimum C1 level)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts
- Highly organized, process-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to take responsibility for tasks from start to finish
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Understanding of electrical systems (PV knowledge is a plus)
- Familiarity with MS Office
- Familiarity with Salesforce
