What You'll Do
Install, maintain, and repair advanced diagnostic imaging systems on-site with limited oversight. Respond promptly to technical issues, performing accurate diagnostics and efficient repairs to minimize downtime. Conduct routine preventative maintenance and ensure all equipment operates according to specifications.
Provide practical training to system operators, enabling effective and safe use of technology. Maintain detailed service records through digital reporting tools and adhere to calibration schedules for test equipment. Manage assigned company assets, including vehicles, tools, and spare parts inventory.
Support financial goals by controlling expenses, optimizing inventory usage, and contributing to revenue targets. Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with peers to maintain consistent service standards. Build strong professional relationships with clients and uphold administrative accuracy across all tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least five years of experience in biomedical engineering, medical technology, or field service roles focused on diagnostic systems
- Proven ability to use technical tools and diagnostic equipment effectively
- Familiarity with network-based service platforms such as eVO, mButler, MS Office, Concur, and customer service portals
- Strong reading comprehension of technical documentation, including schematics, block diagrams, and functional guides
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to operate a company vehicle independently
- Physical capacity to lift 50 pounds and perform tasks involving bending, climbing, standing, and fine motor control
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
