Role Overview
Join a distributed team as a System Analyst focused on turning business objectives into actionable technical blueprints. You'll play a central role in designing system behavior, defining how components interact, and ensuring solutions align with long-term goals. Working remotely, you'll collaborate across disciplines to deliver a new digital product tailored for the Mexican market.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business initiatives into detailed technical specifications and contribute to architectural decisions
- Design and document integration interfaces using REST API standards and JSON schema definitions
- Model workflows and system interactions using BPMN and UML, including sequence and activity diagrams
- Break down high-level projects into development-ready tasks, including user stories, use cases, and acceptance conditions
- Engage throughout the development cycle—supporting planning, clarifying requirements, and refining backlogs
- Keep technical documentation current in Confluence, ensuring accuracy and accessibility
- Partner with Technical Support to investigate and resolve complex system issues, including root cause analysis
- Maintain fluency in technical English to interpret and produce documentation effectively
What You Bring
- Minimum of two years as a System Analyst, ideally in product or integration-focused environments
- Firm grasp of REST API fundamentals: HTTP methods, status codes, headers, and idempotent operations
- Experience using Swagger and Postman for API testing and design
- Proficiency in SQL, including writing multi-join queries and navigating PostgreSQL structures
- Ability to produce clear, standardized diagrams using BPMN and UML
- Proven skill in writing precise technical documentation, from requirements to specifications
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Exposure to message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Background in fintech, banking, or e-commerce domains
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and its design principles

Work Setup
This is a fully remote role. Candidates in Russia will be employed under local labor regulations. Professionals from other countries will engage as contractors. You'll collaborate with an international team, contributing to a data-driven product with measurable impact.
