As a Customer Field Technician in Tamworth, you'll play a key role in connecting homes and businesses by installing, diagnosing, and maintaining high-performance network systems. Working independently on customer sites, you'll handle both fibre and copper cabling tasks, including splicing, jointing, and setting up customer equipment to ensure seamless service delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Install and maintain cabling infrastructure using copper and fibre technologies
- Set up and configure Customer Premises Equipment for optimal connectivity
- Diagnose and resolve network faults efficiently and accurately
- Deliver professional, courteous service during every customer interaction
- Perform technical work both inside and outside residential and commercial properties
- Manage your schedule autonomously within operating hours of 7am to 7pm
What We’re Looking For
You're based in or near Tamworth and have full working rights in Australia. A current, unrestricted driver’s license is essential, along with a strong commitment to safety, integrity, and customer care. You communicate clearly and confidently, manage your time effectively, and take initiative when working alone.
While prior experience in electrical or communication cabling is preferred, we welcome those eager to transition into telecommunications with transferable skills and a willingness to grow.
