As a Retail Merchandiser, you will manage gift card displays across multiple retail outlets in and around Frederick, MD. Your primary responsibility is to maintain accurate stock levels, set up new products, remove discontinued items, and ensure all fixtures follow established plan-o-grams. You’ll conduct regular audits, rotate seasonal displays, and place promotional signage to support product visibility.
What You’ll Do
- Visit assigned retail locations to service gift card racks and displays
- Restock inventory, introduce new SKUs, and remove outdated products
- Follow display schematics to ensure correct product placement
- Conduct on-site inventories and report findings accurately
- Support seasonal resets and special promotional projects
What We Need From You
- Proven experience in merchandising or retail operations
- A reliable vehicle for travel between locations
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and driving record review
- Capacity to lift up to 20 pounds when handling product cases
- Smartphone or tablet with active data service
Compensation & Benefits
You’ll earn competitive hourly pay that reflects your experience, with additional compensation for time spent driving between stores. Mileage is reimbursed at 72 cents per mile, and you’ll receive a monthly stipend for app-related data usage. The role includes eligibility for annual and merit-based pay increases, offering long-term earning potential.
Work Environment
This is a local, part-time position serving retailers in Frederick, Germantown, and Damascus. You’ll enjoy flexible scheduling during daytime hours—no nights or weekends required. Work is self-directed, allowing you to manage your route efficiently while meeting service standards.
