CVS Health is hiring a Credentialing Specialist to manage and maintain the credentialing and recredentialing processes for our network of healthcare providers. In this role, you will ensure all providers meet regulatory, payer, and organizational requirements, supporting our mission of building a world of health around every consumer.
What You'll Do
- Assist in maintaining information in Credentialing databases and systems.
- Review and validate provider information against business and credentialing requirements, following company policies, state regulations, and accrediting body standards.
- Perform extensive research and analysis of sensitive provider issues, communicating data integrity issues in a timely manner.
- Work closely with providers to verify qualifications including education, training, licenses, certifications, and work history.
What We're Looking For
- 1 year of direct credentialing experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of credentialing systems like CAQH and EPDB.
- Proficiency with Excel.
- Strong desk management skills.
