Inventive Food Technology is hiring a Buyer, Thai Language to manage local sourcing and supplier networks for assigned plant(s) and regional portfolio. This role is central to ensuring continuity of supply, executing tail spend strategy, and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

What You'll Do

Respond to plant requests with urgency and ownership.
Understand market dynamics, economic situation, and business practices.
Develop supplier network. Monitor and manage supplier performance for assigned location(s)/portfolio and ensure continuity of supply/services for designated sites.
Work closely with planning and manufacturing to address potential supply shortages and production issues.
Manage local sourcing for assigned plant(s) and regional sourcing portfolio in accordance with Global Procurement policies, systems, and procedures.
Execute Tail Spend strategy including basic tail management: create, maintain, and approve suppliers as per stakeholders’ requests.
Build and manage internal relationships with IC&D Team, Operations, Sales, Finance, Legal, Quality, and GRA. Build external relationships with suppliers/potential supply partners for smooth and efficient execution of purchasing strategies.
Create leveraged agreements as appropriate.
Calculate and report accomplishments in all appropriate systems.

What We're Looking For

Master or bachelor's degree.
Fluent in spoken and written Thai. English written ability.
More than 2 years’ experience in the Flavors & Fragrances industry, Chemical or other related industry within a Procurement function.
Flexibility to get rapidly adjusted to new situations in a continuous changing environment.
Basic understanding and skills on procurement activities, including: Coordination with suppliers on disputes and resolution; Developing and executing negotiation strategies for routine transactions.
Good planning & organizing skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills.
