Role Overview
This position is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market reach within a defined territory. The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between healthcare professionals and the organization, promoting products through consistent field engagement and strategic outreach.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed sales targets set for the assigned geography through focused field activities
- Conduct daily field visits independently, with minimal direct supervision
- Log daily activities and outcomes accurately in the designated digital platform
- Maintain required call averages, doctor coverage rates, and visit frequency as defined by the division
- Drive prescription generation and increase product adoption across key accounts
- Represent the brand effectively by aligning promotional efforts with strategic guidelines
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and distributors
- Support planning initiatives by providing on-the-ground insights and feedback
- Act as a trusted representative of the brand in all stakeholder interactions
Qualifications
Required
- Hold a BSc or B. Pharma degree
- Have at least two years of relevant experience, or demonstrate strong communication and analytical abilities if applying as a fresher
- Communicate clearly and confidently in professional settings
Preferred
- Prior experience in the same therapeutic area
- Background working with multinational corporations or leading Indian pharmaceutical firms
Work Environment
This is primarily an on-site role based in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, with field responsibilities requiring regular travel. While the position demands physical presence in the territory, certain operational flexibilities may be available. Candidates must be prepared for daily fieldwork and consistent reporting.
