Paired is hiring a Creative Strategist to drive performance-focused creative for a direct-to-consumer brand. You will own the full creative pipeline from ideation to performance analysis, collaborating closely with editors, designers, and media buyers to optimize direct-response campaigns.
What You'll Do
- Ideate, script, and build weekly direct-response creative briefs for UGC short-form, DR edits, and static assets.
- Own end-to-end production from brief to creator/editor handoff, QA, upload/naming, and handoff to the media buying team.
- Partner with editors and designers, providing crisp, timely feedback to hit spec and deadlines.
- Develop platform-native concepts with an emphasis on direct-response video.
- Take ownership of performance to hit monthly/quarterly creative OKRs tied to CPA/CAC and win rate.
- Translate performance metrics into weekly test plans and iteration priorities.
- Collaborate with strategists and media buyers to set hypotheses, budgets, and success criteria.
- Run the insight loop: analyze, codify learnings, decide, brief, launch, and document in Notion.
- Review ads performance and identify optimization opportunities.
- Ideate new hooks and ad concepts, creating briefs for video editors and graphic designers.
- Maintain and expand the angle library.
- Track competitor and market trend signals.
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, communicating timelines, blockers, and trade-offs proactively.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a creative strategy role for US-based DTC brands selling physical products.
- Deep understanding of direct-response advertising and performance marketing.
- Experience with Meta, Instagram, and YouTube advertising platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with performance metrics.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
