Design and document control systems for high-performance data centers as part of a skilled engineering team. In this remote role based in Ukraine, you’ll support U.S.-based projects by developing detailed electrical control drawings and system documentation using Revit and AutoCAD. Your work will focus on building automation, HVAC integration, and low-voltage systems within mission-critical environments.
What You'll Do
- Create accurate control system layouts, schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel designs using industry-standard tools.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and automation specialists to ensure cohesive system integration.
- Support the development of building automation systems, including DDC controls and BAS/BMS configurations.
- Contribute to fire alarm and security system design as part of broader low-voltage efforts.
- Maintain up-to-date project documentation, submittals, and as-built records in alignment with engineering standards.
- Participate in design reviews, implement feedback, and ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures.
- Assist with commissioning documentation and support handover processes for deployed systems.
Requirements
- 3 to 6+ years of hands-on experience in controls, building systems, or low-voltage design.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD is required; Revit experience is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with DDC controls, building automation systems (BAS/BMS), and HVAC integration.
- Solid understanding of BIM and VDC workflows, with exposure to digital twins or augmented reality a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working in collaborative, multidisciplinary settings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
