Monzo is looking for a Control Analytics Manager on a fixed-term contract. You will design and build automated monitoring solutions and reusable frameworks for risk and controls, bringing data-driven insight to how the bank manages risk and helping us scale safely and smartly.
What You'll Do
- Design and build automated queries, scripts, and dashboards for Continuous Control Monitoring using SQL, BigQuery, and Looker.
- Create reusable code and automation frameworks to embed analytics into control testing.
- Lead data analytics for ad-hoc, targeted reviews of specific risks or control themes.
- Ensure control gaps identified through analytics are agreed with stakeholders and recorded.
- Collaborate across risk, audit, and business teams to strengthen accountability and embed proactive assurance.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in regulated financial services, professional services, or high-growth tech with a focus on control assurance and data-driven risk management.
- Highly skilled in SQL.
- Experience designing and building data analytics solutions for control testing and continuous monitoring.
- Analytical thinker who simplifies complexity and communicates insights to senior management.
- Thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Immediately available or have a notice period of 1 month or less.
Nice to Have
- Looker and BigQuery experience.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub and automating data pipelines into BigQuery.

- Compensation: £59,500 - £80,500.
