This role is central to shaping how procurement performance is understood and measured as the business grows. You’ll take full ownership of procurement reporting—from initial design to ongoing refinement—ensuring stakeholders have access to accurate, timely insights on supplier spend, contracts, and lifecycle performance.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards that turn complex procurement data into clear, decision-ready outputs used across the organization.
- Improve data pipelines by connecting procurement and finance systems, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and automation at scale.
- Translate business questions into structured analysis, identifying trends in cost and supplier performance and explaining the drivers behind changes.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and Data teams to align on definitions, enhance data integrity, and reflect real-world operations in reporting.
- Proactively identify gaps in current reporting or processes and lead improvements—balancing immediate needs with long-term scalability and usability.
- Engage confidently with senior stakeholders, presenting insights clearly and helping guide strategic decisions.
Requirements
- Experience in analytics, finance, procurement, or a related data-intensive field with an understanding of how these domains interconnect.
- Proven ability to build interactive dashboards using Looker or similar BI tools, with experience in orchestration platforms.
- Hands-on experience working with SQL-based data warehouses such as BigQuery.
- Skill in reconciling disparate datasets from multiple systems to answer business-critical questions.
- A track record of turning raw data into meaningful insight, including recommendations for action.
- Ability to work independently, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive changes efficiently.
- Comfort engaging with senior leaders and managing expectations with clarity and confidence.
- A bias for action—able to deliver quick wins while advancing longer-term strategic goals.
