Braze is seeking a Contracts Coordinator to join its growing contracts team. You will manage the daily contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to execution, primarily supporting the Sales team. You will work closely with the Contracts Specialist, enabling them to focus on larger strategic initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Manage the end-to-end workflow of designated contracts, including drafting, negotiation, and execution.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external customers to finalize Statements of Work and other agreements.
- Ensure consistent application of Braze's policies and standard language across all contract types to mitigate risk.
- Contribute to clarifying and shortening the sales contracting process, and smoothing the onboarding for customers and the sales team.
- Maintain accurate contract data in our CRM (Salesforce) and Contract Lifecycle Management system (IronClad).
- Assist the Contracts Specialist with projects related to process improvement, template management, and compliance initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a contracts-focused role or a formal legal education where you have applied strong attention to detail and passion for helping the organization maintain and execute various contract frameworks.
- Proficient in the redlining and negotiation process, with the ability to balance business needs with risk mitigation.
- Possess strong business acumen, allowing you to balance the need for speed in the sales cycle with effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Highly organized, process-driven, and a self-starter who is adept at version control and managing multiple contracts simultaneously.
- Agile and flexible, with an ability to learn quickly and thrive in a dynamic environment that includes both well-defined and ambiguous situations.
- Collaborative by nature, with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Possess strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
- Must be able to work Eastern Standard Time working hours.
Nice to Have
- Experience with or knowledge of the digital analytics, digital media, or a related professional services industry.
- Experience with a Contract Lifecycle Management system, such as Ironclad.
