Johnson Health Tech Retail Inc is hiring a Content Manager reporting to the Associate Director of Brand Marketing. You will be responsible for the planning, production, and execution of brand content across multiple channels, blending editorial leadership with content operations.
What You'll Do
- Develop tone, style, and voice for all branded marketing materials.
- Own the editorial calendar across website, blog, email, and social media.
- Identify content opportunities based on SEO insights, social trends, and audience needs.
- Leverage AI tools to scale content development for blogs, landing pages, and social media.
- Edit, refine, and humanize AI-generated content to ensure brand voice and accuracy.
- Build repeatable AI prompt frameworks and workflows to improve efficiency.
- Produce and continuously improve copy for multiple branded e-commerce website properties.
- Publish and update blogs and product content, optimizing underperforming pages.
- Produce copy for social media posts, stories, and campaigns to increase engagement.
- Work with Creative and Performance Marketing teams to build engaging email content strategies.
- Lead message concepting and scripting for online video and TV campaign spots.
- Develop product positioning, feature/benefit content, and product training material.
- Elevate brand presence at retail through messaging for packaging and point-of-purchase materials.
- Develop naming strategies for new product series and model names.
- Conduct keyword research and implement search-driven content strategies.
- Edit and approve content produced internally or externally.
- Manage content governance, documentation, and multiple design projects simultaneously.
- Use Asana to manage projects, streamline workflows, and ensure timely delivery.
- Track content performance across channels, using insights to refine strategy and improve ROI.
- Develop reporting dashboards to demonstrate content impact on traffic, engagement, and conversion.
- Assist marketing, sales, and product teams with developing and editing presentation content.
- Collaborate with designers to create integrated content experiences.
- Review and approve external writers, freelancers, or agencies when needed.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, or Journalism.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a copywriter with strong editorial skills.
- Minimum 2 years of content planning and execution experience for product brands.
- Experience in content generation for consumer-facing print and digital marketing materials.
- Script writing and concept creation experience.
- Working knowledge of SEO strategy and keyword optimization.
- Understanding of digital marketing channels and messaging best practices.
- Understanding of AI tools, platforms, and best practices used in content creation.
- Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders to inform and produce content strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Intense attention to detail and editing.
- Up to 5% domestic travel.
Nice to Have
- Agency experience is a plus.
- Experience with fitness or wellness-related content development is a plus.
