Heifer International is looking for a Consultant – Business Development to join our team in Noida, UP, India. This role is vital to our mission, supporting the Business Development & Partnership team in securing strategic funding opportunities. You will play a key part in strengthening our resource mobilization capacity through comprehensive proposal development and donor engagement.
What You'll Do
- Support end-to-end proposal development, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Maintain a centralized document management system and track submission timelines.
- Conduct research to identify prospective donors and create detailed donor profiles.
- Coordinate meetings and follow-ups with donors, maintain communication logs, and draft partner communications.
- Assist in planning, organizing, and documenting events, workshops, and donor engagements.
- Submit monthly progress reports and a final work completion report.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in business development, grant writing, or proposal development, preferably within the non-profit sector.
- Strong research and analytical skills for donor identification and profiling.
- Excellent organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail for managing documentation and timelines.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for drafting proposals and partner communications.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and coordinate across a team.
