This role supports the implementation and clinical integration of the Affera™ Mapping and Ablation System in cardiac electrophysiology environments. The specialist collaborates with medical teams to ensure effective use of the technology, contributes to training initiatives, supports system installations, and enhances clinical workflows. The position operates within a mission-driven healthcare technology setting, emphasizing responsive customer support, continuous knowledge sharing, and active participation in professional development events.
Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical and technical support to physicians and EP lab personnel using the Affera™ system and associated equipment including generators, software features, pumps, and accessories
- Conduct training sessions for hospital staff to introduce new technologies and promote adoption
- Collaborate in planning and executing system installations in coordination with technical teams
- Support the education team in developing and expanding training centers
- Contribute to the development of advanced clinical workflows for improved patient care
- Share best practices with peers to enhance customer support and service consistency
- Engage in regular account planning discussions with the sales team
- Attend regional and international medical conferences, workshops, and symposia as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Engineer’s degree in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related scientific field
- Ability to gain credentialing and work within electrophysiology lab environments
Nice to Have
- Experience in clinical electrophysiology or the medical device and life sciences sector
- Proven ability to remain composed and solution-focused in high-pressure situations
- Valid driver’s license
- Fluency in both English and Slovak
