DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for maintaining clear communication, reviewing schedules and costs, and ensuring all projects meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.
What You'll Do
- Maintain accurate communication and knowledge of all project activities with landlords and contractors.
- Review and update project schedules to meet required delivery dates.
- Validate work progress by comparing weekly photos against the schedule.
- Review contractor progress reports to ensure schedule compliance.
- Conduct regular job site visits for quality assurance, design, and schedule compliance.
- Review all proposed cost changes and validate them against the project budget.
- Conduct regular issue reviews to maintain the project schedule.
- Build strong working relationships with each project team.
- Provide weekly status reports and progress data to the Senior Construction Project Manager.
- Know all critical project milestones, review for compliance, identify problems, and resolve them.
- Conduct walk-throughs to produce detailed 'punch lists' for all assigned projects.
- Ensure a timely and accurate project closeout and transition to the Facilities Manager.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Business.
- Five (5) years or more of experience as a Project Manager within a construction department or organization.
- Experience managing multiple commercial-grade construction projects.
Nice to Have
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Secondary experience working with a development company and/or construction company.
- Previous Construction Management experience with a retail chain or multi-unit operator.
Team & Environment
This position reports directly to the Senior Construction Project Manager (SCPM).
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $83,000.00 - $138,200.00
