Babcock International is looking for a Construction Management Graduate to join a two-year programme focused on delivering complex defence infrastructure projects. You will gain hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle, from initial planning through to on-site delivery, while developing essential skills in a structured and supportive environment.
What You'll Do
- Gain experience across the full construction project lifecycle, from cost planning and budgeting through to project coordination and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare tenders, monitor financial performance, and support contract negotiations.
- Work with contractors to plan activities, manage schedules, and embed health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Contribute to risk management, help identify potential hazards, and promote a culture where safety is the top priority.
- Work on placements across different project stages, from planning and procurement to on-site delivery.
- Work closely with engineers, quantity surveyors, and project managers, building confidence and learning to communicate technical detail clearly.
- Explore emerging technologies and modern construction methods to bring fresh thinking to projects.
What We're Looking For
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, a STEM field, Civil Engineering, or Construction Engineering.
- Must be able to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) clearance.
- Must be a sole UK national due to applicable national security legislation.
