About the Role

ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions is seeking a Divisional Compliance Officer to join its EMEIA division. Reporting to the Vice-President & General Counsel EMEIA, you will be responsible for developing and implementing robust compliance frameworks, managing risk, and supporting the business in a dynamic international environment.

What You'll Do

  • Act as a key member of the Legal & Compliance function, supporting the development, implementation, and oversight of the Group’s compliance programs including anti-corruption, anti-trust, and export control/trade sanctions.
  • Identify, manage, and solve compliance risks, providing expert advice on compliance topics.
  • Design, develop, and continuously improve the EMEIA Division’s compliance programs.
  • Keep abreast of relevant regulatory developments across the EMEIA Division, raising awareness through regular compliance training.
  • Continuously follow up on processes and policy implementation, reporting results to relevant stakeholders.
  • Work with the M&A Team and external advisors on compliance due diligence and post-acquisition integration.
  • Conduct compliance investigations and anti-corruption reviews with Internal Audit and external consultants.
  • Regularly report on compliance matters to the Group’s Code of Conduct Committee and manage communications with regulators as necessary.

What We're Looking For

  • Fluent in English both verbal and written.
  • Educated to at least a degree level in a relevant subject.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a similar compliance position.
  • Proficient in MS Office 365, particularly Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
  • Ability to work under pressure, make decisions, and produce results with limited supervision.
  • Self-starter with an ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Prepared to travel within the region and occasionally outside of it.

Nice to Have

  • Legal qualification.
  • Prior experience in internal audit or working with internal controls.
  • Experience working in the Manufacturing or Engineering industry in an international environment.
