Lead sales growth across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh in critical sectors including Hydro, Disaster Management, Oil & Gas, and Research. This role is responsible for expanding market presence through proactive business development and structured sales execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and convert new business opportunities by engaging with stakeholders in government, public sector, and industrial organizations.
- Manage every stage of the sales journey—from initial contact to contract close—ensuring alignment between client needs and technical offerings.
- Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals for tenders issued by government agencies and PSUs.
- Work closely with engineering and operations teams to develop compelling, customized solutions for complex project requirements.
- Host client meetings, product demonstrations, and site visits to build trust and showcase value.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all leads, follow-ups, and deals in the CRM system to ensure visibility and accountability.
- Deliver regular updates on sales performance, pipeline health, and market insights to leadership.
- Build long-term partnerships with key decision-makers in procurement, project management, and technical departments.
- Stay ahead of regional market trends and identify new entry points in infrastructure and research-focused institutions.
What You Bring
- 5–10 years of experience in B2B sales, particularly within capital-intensive or technical industries such as marine technology, engineering solutions, or energy infrastructure.
- Proven success in tender-driven sales environments and consultative selling models.
- Familiarity with government procurement processes and empanelment procedures is a strong advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical offerings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets independently.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and MS Office applications for reporting and proposal development.
Preferred Background
- Existing relationships with Water Resources Departments, Disaster Management Authorities, or research-focused institutions.
- Experience selling engineered systems, capital equipment, or technology solutions to government or industrial clients.
