Deepgram is looking for a Commercial Sales Manager to lead a commercial segment of our Account Executive team. In this strategic and hands-on role, you will build the systems, playbooks, and culture needed to scale ARR growth while directly developing a high-performing team.
What You'll Do
- Build, nurture, and lead Account Executive teams accountable for new business and upsell ARR.
- Lead and scale your AE team, fostering a culture of performance, accountability, and growth.
- Align with leadership on demand generation, pipeline goals, forecasting, and product feedback.
- Coach and mentor AEs through a structured development path.
- Drive innovation in pipeline efficiency through the use of AI-enabled sales tools.
- Build data-driven systems for forecasting, territory planning, and performance management.
- Achieve and exceed ARR and other set goals, aligned with OKRs.
- Hire market-leading talent whose values align with our company and ramp them up quickly.
- Inspire a culture of teamwork, transparency, and accountability, leading from the front.
- Take a proactive approach to performance management with strong cadences and clear expectations.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales management.
- At least 3+ years leading teams of Account Executives.
- Proven success in driving pipeline generation, forecasting accuracy, and ARR growth at scale.
- Demonstrated experience coaching and developing AEs through structured enablement programs.
- Deep understanding of what it takes to optimize new business and upsell win rates and ASP.
- Familiarity with leveraging AI and automation tools to improve sales efficiency, personalization, and operational scale.
- Strong operational instincts: you set clear metrics, drive accountability, and continually refine systems.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire teams and influence peers across functions.
Nice to Have
- Experience leading AE organizations at a high-growth, Series B+ startup or scaling tech company.
- Background selling developer tools, infrastructure, or AI/ML technologies.
- Expertise in building talent development programs or performance coaching frameworks.
- Comfort operating in dynamic, fast-moving environments with evolving goals and systems.
