ComForCare (Best Life Brands) seeks a Commercial Estimator / Business Development professional to drive growth in commercial construction. In this combined role, you will be responsible for prospecting for opportunities, performing material takeoffs, building estimates, and maintaining a CRM pipeline to generate revenue and build long-term contractor relationships.
What You'll Do
- Proactively prospect commercial opportunities with General Contractors, Developers, Commercial property managers, and Municipal/public buyers.
- Source and track commercial bid opportunities via bid platforms, GC plan rooms, and public procurement portals.
- Review architectural and civil blueprints and perform material takeoffs (linear footage, gates, posts, rail systems).
- Build rough commercial estimates using tools such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Stack, and Excel-based templates.
- Maintain a clean and organized CRM with active bids, follow-ups, and bid status.
- Follow up consistently with GCs and procurement contacts.
- Hand off clean estimates and qualified opportunities to sales leadership for final pricing.
- Stay involved post-bid to support relationship continuity.
What We're Looking For
- Strong spoken and written English (C1/C2 Fluency).
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Developer or in a related role.
- Experience with commercial construction bids or estimating.
- Ability to read architectural and civil blueprints independently.
- Hands-on experience with PlanSwift or similar takeoff tools.
- Comfortable with cold outreach and follow-ups.
- Ability to work U.S. business hours (or at least 4–6 hours of overlap).
- Organized, detail-oriented, and follow-up driven.
- Professional and quiet remote work setup (PC) with reliable high-speed internet.
- Strong Zoom presence and polished communication skills.
- Ability to balance client interactions with administrative responsibilities.
Nice to Have
- Experience in fencing, steel, railing, or sitework trades.
- Experience working with U.S.-based contractors.
- CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, Pipedrive, etc.).
- Familiarity with construction procurement portals and GC plan rooms.
- Background combining estimating and business development.
