Illumio is seeking a Commercial Account Representative to be a key contributor to our commercial sales growth. In this role based in the Washington D.C. Metro area, you’ll build strategic relationships with mid-market clients and partner sellers, exceed sales quotas, and drive initiatives aligned with our cybersecurity mission.
What You'll Do
- Exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas for an assigned territory.
- Develop and execute a territory plan with a target prospect list and regional sales strategy.
- Build and nurture an ecosystem of partner sellers and SEs who are actively selling with you.
- Partner with marketing and inside sales teams to generate pipeline and qualify opportunities.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospects and partners.
- Lead ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and drive additional revenue.
- Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer business needs and aligning Illumio’s solutions to their IT roadmap.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in a Commercial Account Executive or equivalent role within the IT industry.
- Proven success in exceeding revenue goals and new customer acquisition.
- Experience selling with partners and managing a network of partner sellers.
- Executive-level relationship management and CRM hygiene.
- Ability to work in a matrixed support organization using virtual specialists.
- Willingness to travel 20–50% depending on business needs.
- Successful track record of selling to the C-suite with a strong rolodex of contacts in region.
