AuditBoard is hiring a Commercial Account Executive (East) (Remote)

About the Role

AuditBoard is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to sell our audit, risk, ESG, and InfoSec platform to large publicly traded and private organizations. In this remote role, you will drive significant impact by managing high-value accounts, closing deals, and engaging with C-level executives. You must reside on the US East Coast.

What You'll Do

  • Execute full-cycle sales including territory planning, pipeline generation, and progressing sales opportunities to close.
  • Exceed annual sales targets of >$1M, with a 90% net new business target.
  • Expand new business opportunities in existing and new customer accounts within your assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with CCOs, CAOs, CFOs, CIOs, CTOs, EVPs, and SVPs to develop tailored solutions.
  • Identify customer pain points, educate on AuditBoard’s value, demo the product, and guide prospects through the sales process.
  • Co-create a solution and business case to enable stakeholders to advocate for and adopt AuditBoard.
  • Work closely with SDRs/BDRs, Product Solutions, Implementation, and Customer Success teams.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned to goals using the MEDDICC sales methodology.
  • Collaborate with channel partners to tackle strategic opportunities.
  • Travel 25%-30% for client/partner meetings, events, and conferences.

What We're Looking For

  • 5-7+ years of SaaS sales experience selling enterprise, B2B solutions with steady career progression.
  • OR Senior Manager or higher in a Risk Advisory practice (risk management, internal audit) of a Big4 or mid-tier firm.
  • Proficient in using MEDDICC/MEDDPICC with a track record of exceeding quarterly/annual quotas reaching above $1-1.2M.
  • Strong executive presence.
  • Coachable, collaborative, and great at building relationships.
  • Ability to negotiate pricing while retaining value.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex SaaS deals and articulate product value against competitors.
  • Ability to identify client pain points and develop compelling, customer-first value propositions.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Must reside on the US East Coast.

This is a fully remote position. You must reside and be authorized to work on the US East Coast.
