About the Role

AuditBoard is hiring a Commercial Account Executive to join our team. You will sell our audit, risk, ESG, and information security platform to large publicly traded and private organizations on the East Coast. Your mission is to drive new business, manage high-value accounts, and collaborate with C-level executives to solve complex problems.

What You'll Do

  • Execute full-cycle sales including territory planning, pipeline generation, and progressing sales opportunities to close.
  • Exceed annual sales targets of >$1M with a 90% net new business target.
  • Expand new business opportunities in existing and new customer accounts within your assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with CCOs, CAOs, CFOs, CIOs, CTOs, EVPs, and SVPs to develop tailored solutions.
  • Identify customer pain points, educate on AuditBoard’s value, demo the product, and guide prospects through the sales process.
  • Co-create a solution and business case to enable stakeholders to advocate for and adopt AuditBoard.
  • Work closely with SDRs/BDRs, Product Solutions, Implementation, and Customer Success teams.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned to goals using MEDDICC methodology.
  • Collaborate with channel partners to tackle strategic opportunities.
  • Travel 25%-30% for client and partner meetings, events, and conferences.

What We're Looking For

  • 5-7+ years of SaaS sales experience selling enterprise, B2B solutions with steady career tenure (ideally 3 years in one company).
  • Or experience as a Senior Manager or higher in a Risk Advisory practice (risk management, internal audit) of a Big4 or mid-tier firm.
  • Proficient in using MEDDICC/MEDDPICC with a track record of exceeding quarterly and annual quotas above $1-1.2M.
  • Strong executive presence.
  • Coachable, willing to learn, collaborative, and great at building relationships.
  • Ability to negotiate pricing with a focus on retaining value.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex SaaS deals and articulate product distinctiveness against competitors.
  • Ability to identify client pain points and develop compelling value propositions.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Must reside on the East Coast to align with team and customer time zones.

This is a remote position for candidates located on the East Coast.
