About the Role

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Command Center Software Account Executive to join our Software Enterprise Sales team. You will be responsible for establishing credible account relationships and driving sales of Command Center Software Solutions into competitive accounts within the State and local government space.

What You'll Do

  • Establish credible account relationships and drive sales into competitive accounts.
  • Manage, develop, and drive accountability into the NG 9-1-1 partner ecosystem, including resellers and manufacturer representatives.
  • Handle sales, strategic account planning, and overall relationship management for Command Center Software Solutions (Vesta, Vesta NXT, Assist, Rave, RadiusPlus, etc.).
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive ‘Add On’ sales plan for each account within your assigned geography.
  • Assemble and coordinate a diverse team of internal & external pre-sales resources to assess customer needs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to influence customers' technology platform decisions.
  • Develop strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers.
  • Proactively engage executive sponsors to build strategic relationships.
  • Develop procurement vehicles for multiple solutions to be leveraged across entire target accounts.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales/public safety experience OR 8+ years of sales/public safety experience.
  • 4+ years of public safety software application system and/or sales experience in the State and local government space.
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding assigned sales goals.
  • Knowledge and experience with CRM systems, specifically Salesforce.com.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written & presentation).
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Ability to establish yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Public Safety operations.
  • Basic knowledge of Motorola Radio Voice Communications Networks.
  • Basic knowledge of Motorola Smart Public Safety Solutions - Command & Control Applications Solutions.
  • Experience with Miller-Heiman sales methodology.
  • Knowledge of NG911, Networking, CAD/RMS, Mobile Data system, Mass Notification, and mapping solutions.
  • Experience selling software solutions.
  • Experience selling long-term, large service deals as a solution.
  • Ability to quickly learn new product characteristics and communicate their value.

  • Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 USD
