Motorola Solutions is hiring a Command Center Software Account Executive

About the Role

Motorola Solutions is looking for a Command Center Software Account Executive to build and manage strategic relationships while driving sales of our Command Center Software portfolio. You will be responsible for establishing credibility, developing partnership accountability, and influencing technology decisions within competitive state and local government accounts.

What You'll Do

  • Establish credible account relationships and drive sales into competitive accounts.
  • Manage, develop, and drive accountability into the NG 9-1-1 partner ecosystem, including resellers and manufacturer representatives.
  • Handle sales, strategic account planning, and overall relationship management for Command Center Software Solutions.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive 'Add On' sales plan for each account within your assigned geography.
  • Assemble and coordinate a diverse team of internal and external pre-sales resources to assess customer needs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to influence customer technology platform decisions and develop loyalty for Motorola Solutions.
  • Develop strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers within the existing customer base.
  • Proactively engage Motorola Solutions executive sponsors to build strategic relationships for long-term opportunities.
  • Develop Motorola Solutions procurement vehicles for multiple solutions to be leveraged across an entire target account.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales/public safety experience OR 8+ years of sales/public safety experience.
  • 4+ years of public safety software application system and/or sales experience in the State and local government space.
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding assigned sales goals.
  • Knowledge and experience with CRM systems, specifically Salesforce.com.
  • Knowledge of NG911, Networking, CAD/RMS, Mobile Data systems, Mass Notification, mapping solutions and marketplaces.
  • Experience selling software solutions.
  • Experience selling long-term, large service deals as a solution.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new product characteristics and communicate their value.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Ability to establish oneself as a trusted advisor.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Public Safety operations.
  • Basic knowledge of Motorola Radio Voice Communications Networks.
  • Basic knowledge of Motorola Smart Public Safety Solutions - Command & Control Applications Solutions.
  • Experience with Miller-Heiman sales methodology.
