Colorado Christian University is hiring a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist/Administrator for a full-time, remote position on the Information Technology team. You will support marketing automation by administering the Marketing Cloud environment and collaborating with various business units to meet the university's needs.
What You'll Do
- Develop, document, and implement journeys using Journey Builder and sync data between Salesforce Service/Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud.
- Function as the institutional expert on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform for various business units.
- Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests.
- Work with the Communications & Creative Services team to create communication plans.
- Manage the totality of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud ecosystem from implementing new features to supporting end-users.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather, define, and document requirements.
- Use a ticketing system to record, classify, and resolve client incidents and service requests.
- Build and manage data extensions and audience segmentation; track email performance and develop dashboards and reports.
- Seek opportunities for automation and improvement of current processes.
- Stay current on Salesforce Marketing Cloud releases and evaluate new features.
- Plan ahead for upgrades, seasonal releases, and long-term projects.
- Support user adoption, deliver training, and help maximize the platform’s value.
What We're Looking For
- Two or more years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administration, Salesforce Service Cloud, or a similar system.
- Two or more years of experience in higher education enterprise software support.
- Excellent technical aptitude and proven ability to learn new systems.
- Analytical and strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to think creatively and with attention to detail.
- Excellent project management skills and a positive, encouraging attitude.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization: orally and in writing.
- Exemplary customer service through frequent communication, positive relations, and prompt support.
- Ability to critically evaluate business requests from the underlying true needs of the organization.
- A committed follower of Jesus Christ, with a strong sense of calling to the ministry of Colorado Christian University.
- Able to effectively communicate personal faith and apply biblical principles and convictions in the workplace.
- Regularly attend and be engaged in meaningful involvement in a Bible-believing evangelical local church.
- Must be a traditional evangelical Christian whose lifestyle is in consonance with sound Christian principles, is compatible with CCU’s Statement of Faith, and is in agreement with the Strategic Priorities promulgated by the University.
Nice to Have
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator certification.
- Knowledge of HTML, Javascript, AMPscript, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and Structured Query Language (SQL).
