Responsibilities
- Monitor client account balances and identify overdue payments
- Collaborate with billing teams to resolve discrepancies
- Follow up with clients on outstanding invoices
- Prepare and distribute collection letters and statements
- Track and document collection efforts
- Assist in developing aging analysis reports
- Coordinate with legal teams on client-specific financial issues
- Maintain accurate records of client communications
- Support month-end and quarter-end closing processes
- Verify payment allocations and apply them correctly
- Investigate and resolve client account inquiries
- Escalate complex collection issues to management
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies
- Assist in cash application processes
- Reconcile client accounts regularly
- Identify trends in delinquent accounts
- Work with external collection agencies when necessary
- Maintain confidentiality of client financial data
- Support internal audit requests related to receivables
- Improve collections procedures through process feedback
- Utilize accounting software to manage client data
- Generate reports for management review
- Assist in client credit assessments
- Participate in cross-functional finance initiatives
- Ensure timely resolution of client disputes
