Sedgwick is looking for a Claims Examiner - Workers Compensation to analyze claims on behalf of clients, determining benefits and ensuring adjudication aligns with service expectations and industry best practices. This role is part of a company committed to a caring culture and work-life balance.
What You'll Do
- Analyze and process claims through well-developed action plans to achieve timely resolution.
- Investigate and gather information to determine the exposure on the claim.
- Negotiate settlement of claims within your designated authority.
- Communicate claim activity and processing with the claimant and the client.
- Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to requests for directions professionally.
What We're Looking For
- Five (5) years of claims management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Specific experience with Florida Workers Compensation regulations and claims.
Nice to Have
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Professional certification relevant to the line of business.

Work Mode
This is a fully remote position. However, candidates must possess specific experience handling claims within the state of Florida.
