Die Autobahn GmbH des Bundes is hiring a Civil Engineer to join our Munich-Maisach branch, focusing on project management within structural engineering. You will lead significant construction projects, coordinating all stakeholders and ensuring quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
What You'll Do
- Define and update project goals, resolve technical conflicts, and apply established project management methods.
- Plan and monitor finances for awarded contracts and coordinate all internal and external project participants.
- Organize and accompany meetings with the public and stakeholders to ensure transparent information exchange.
- Create, review, and coordinate tender documents, accompany tender procedures, and evaluate bids.
- Design contract content including specifications and evaluation documents.
- Create and review construction documents, plan construction sequences and temporary traffic routing.
- Organize site clearance and technically control existing and execution documentation.
- Lead construction and project meetings, supervise execution, and conduct quality, control, and surveying checks.
- Handle VOB correspondence, acceptances including defect tracking, and review quantity determinations and invoices.
What We're Looking For
- A completed degree (Dipl.-Ing. / Master) in civil engineering with a specialization in structural engineering or construction management, or an equivalent qualification acquired through professional experience.
- Several years of professional experience in structural engineering or comparable fields like construction management.
- Expert knowledge in cross-disciplinary areas of structural engineering, including relevant laws, guidelines, regulations, and technical standards (e.g., RPS, ZTV-Asphalt, ZTV-E, ZTV-SA, ZTV-FRS).
- Expert knowledge in structural engineering codes (e.g., RSA, ZTV ING, RiZ ING, VOB, HOAI, HVA-B, RStO, VgV, HVA-F).
- Knowledge of CAD applications such as Allplan.
- German language skills comparable to CEFR level C1.
- A valid driver's license.
