Samsung Electronics America is hiring a Chief Manager, Affordability to lead the planning and execution of consumer finance and affordability initiatives. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for developing programs that enhance product accessibility and drive sales.
What You'll Do
- Review sales steps including contracts, POs, supply forecasts, invoices, and inventory to guide sales teams.
- Compile annual performance results, analyze gaps versus targets, and set new goals.
- Verify marketing budget accuracy and adjust allocations for each sales department.
- Improve supply forecasting accuracy and optimize the transportation process.
- Plan roll-out of new projects and initiatives in conjunction with current and new partners.
- Coordinate with stakeholders at Head Office and Region level for smooth program implementation.
- Design and run consumer EMI (Equated Monthly Installment) schemes.
- Implement Channel Communication strategies to improve efficiency and information flow.
- Manage relationships with Banks, NBFCs, and partner aggregators.
- Design and manage affordability schemes for product launches, product sustenance, and festival periods.
- Design, allocate, and control budgets based on business priorities.
- Monitor ROI for key business spends.
- Work with Internal Stakeholders like IT, Sales Operations, Finance, and Legal for partner onboarding, offer rollouts, and claim settlements.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 5 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree.
- Full understanding of specialized areas and ability to resolve a wide range of issues creatively.
- Ability to work on problems of diverse scope, analyzing data and evaluating identifiable factors.
- Demonstrates good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Nice to Have
- 3 years of experience and a Master's degree.
- A PhD with no prior experience.
