Carrier Global Corporation is hiring a Regional Business Manager to provide direction and support for distributor partners across the Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky markets. You will be responsible for managing customer relationships, business development, and sales growth within this assigned territory.
What You'll Do
- Manage a customer base, customer relationships, and business performance within your territory.
- Act as a primary contact to identify prospects for distribution and channel management teams.
- Develop professional relationships to understand customer needs and suggest products or services.
- Conduct business development activities for distribution and channel management teams.
- Develop and promote new customer contact leads for the sales business development team.
- Proactively support and develop prospective projects with assigned customers.
- Develop customer presentations for specific customer needs.
- Call on established accounts and develop new accounts.
- Work with accounts to implement sales and marketing programs to increase sales and market penetration.
- Conduct analysis of sales and market data to develop and implement strategies for business results.
- Grow sales volume and market share within your assigned territory.
- Forecast distributor programs, budgets, and sales volumes.
- Engage, collaborate, and coordinate with external channel partners and internal teams.
- Have full accountability and ownership of distributor customers.
- Communicate, launch, and manage factory sales and marketing programs with customers.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of experience in sales and/or operations management.
- 3+ years of Microsoft Office Suite experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Ability to travel domestically 60% of the time.
Nice to Have
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
- Experience in the HVAC or construction industry or any industrial environment.
- Proven success in a Sales role with demonstrated growth and sales volume.
- Experience with SAP and/or Sales Force.
- Thorough understanding of HVAC marketplace dynamics including industry trends and assessment of key competitors’ programs.
- Strong experience working through multiple sales and distribution channels.
- Passion for servicing customers and ability to listen to needs and solve problems.
- Ability to quickly identify new and innovative processes and ways to work faster and simpler.
- Proven ability to execute with speed and exhibit a bias for action mindset.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically, innovate, take risks and implement progressive solutions.
- Proven capacity to communicate professionally in written and verbal format across a wide audience.

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary: $118,000.00-$165,000.00

This is a remote position, open to candidates residing in Ohio, Indiana, or Kentucky.
