General Motors is hiring a Chevrolet District Sales Manager - Northern Virginia

About the Role

General Motors is looking for a Chevrolet District Sales Manager to manage and engage our dealer network in Northern Virginia. You will act as a critical liaison between GM, its dealerships, and partners, ensuring dealers succeed in selling our vehicles. This fast-paced role requires significant travel and focuses on relationship building, mentorship, and sales growth.

What You'll Do

  • Act as a liaison between GM, its dealerships, and additional GM Partners
  • Grow and foster partnerships with dealerships
  • Facilitate mentorship and consulting to ensure monthly and yearly sales objectives are met
  • Track dealership Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and other feedback to identify and address opportunities
  • Assist in product launches to ensure streamlined marketing and advertising between dealer, independent aftermarket (IAM), and GM
  • Monitor dealership personnel training and ensure compliance with GM requirements
  • Assist with dealership inventory management, including vehicle and parts ordering
  • Analyze dealer sales, local market, and competition to identify revenue opportunities
  • Increase sales of GM vehicles and accessory parts
  • Assist in customer problem resolution
  • Travel extensively to dealers within your designated region

What We're Looking For

  • A bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of experience in the automotive industry in lieu of a degree
  • 4+ years in sales and customer service
  • Able to travel 100%, be mobile now and in the future, and able to relocate anywhere within the United States
  • Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis

Work Mode

This is a remote position open to candidates in the United States. The role involves 100% travel to dealerships within the assigned Northern Virginia district.
